Buyers know Time Is Money! That’s why we listen to our customers. We set up a personalized search on MIBOR with the information they give us. As new listings become available we email the listings directly to the customer to review. Then we set up multiple showings on the same day to eliminate costly driving all over town. We are very excited about all the things that are happening in the real estate industry today. Some agents are troubled by recent changes to the market, such as the elimination of Down Payment Assistance and stricter income and credit requirements. There has also been some concern over recent changes to the HUD statements and Good Faith Estimates (GFE), set forth by RESPA. We don’t look at these changes as negatives, but as a positives; which will create more transparency within the industry which will benefit the consumer. Housing prices and interest rates remain an all time low! It’s a great time to purchase real estate; we look forward to helping our customers and clients achieve their goals.
Even if you missed out on the $8000 tax credit that doesn't mean it's not a good time to purchase a home. If you are currently renting a home, wouldn't it be nice to put that rent money towards your own home and start building equity?
Benefits to Home Ownership:
Privacy: Unless you buy a condominium you have a more than a wall separating you from your neighbor. That means you can hammer a nail, have a party, or even watch a movie without bothering the people around you.
Tax Advantages: Did you know all of the interest you pay is a tax deduction? You could pay the same amount for your own home as you would for an apartment or rental home. The property tax is also deductable! These are the largest deductions people with homes enjoy! Ask me what other financial benefits you might be eligible for.
Pets: Most landlords put limits on the number of pets you can own. They also complain if your pet barks too much or you don't immediately clean up after your pet. Wouldn't it be nice to have a backyard so you and your pet can enjoy the great outdoors without you having to worry about violating rules?!
Vehicles: Many people purchase a home so they have a place to park their car close to their home and out of the elements in your own garage! How nice would it be to get into a warm car this winter? No scraping off your windshield, and brushing off piles of snow!
Extra Stuff: Home ownership brings unlimited possibilities! Think about this; Thanksgiving dinner in your own home! More than a balcony to decorate for the holidays! A place to do those hobbies you always wanted to do! Play your music louder than you can when you have a neighbor on the other side of thewall. Use your imagination, the possibilities are endless!
